Croptimum is the standard in integrated plant health management. Croptimum’s revolutionary mode of action delivers a unique combination of results for ornamentals such as for roses.
CHV’s technology is based on carefully selected and purified plant substances. With the use of a specific plant derived molecule we stimulate plant and root activation and improve resilience to abiotic stress.
RESILIENCE TO ABIOTIC STRESS
Applying Croptimum improves protection against the effects of heat and temperature changes. Excessive temperatures and large delta’s between day and night leads to slower metabolic processes. Regular application of Croptimum leads to better leaf temperature, faster recovery for improved nighttime activity and a more resilient plant which is less sensitive to temperature related stress.

Plant activation
Croptimum triggers a response with glutathione which is involved in many plant processes. Through regular application oxidative and abiotic stress is reduced and plant’s performance increased. This results in higher chlorophyl levels, more efficient photosynthesis and improved stomatal conduction enabling plants to grow closer to their optimum.
Root activation
Croptimum improves root health which improves the uptake of nutrients and supports better crop growth. Improved nutrient levels are measured after regular application and, amongst other benefits, resulting in better shoot and flower formation. The optimized health of plants leads to excellent quality of flowers harvested.
ENHANCEMENT OF CROP INPUTS
During application of Croptimum it is observed that the uptake of other inputs improves. With good management of Croptimum and other inputs an increase of the rentability and efficiency of crop inputs can be achieved.

Enhancing the redox buffer
Croptimum contains the active molecule QQ2.
QQ2 exhibits a strong affinity for thiol groups, particularly glutathione. Glutathione is the most abundant antioxidant in plants and plays a central role in regulating a wide range of stress-related physiological processes.
Through its strong interaction with glutathione, QQ2 enhances the plant’s ability to cope with stress, improving stress tolerance and enabling faster recovery following stressful events. Laboratory studies have demonstrated that application of Croptimum leads to a significant increase in glutathione concentrations in plant tissues after treatment.
Observations & results
Through independent research institutes and reputable growers unquestionable results were observed at various production locations worldwide. Across a wide variety of ornamentals better crop health and quality were experienced leading to more efficient plants.
BENEFITS & RESULTS
The use of Croptimum in ornamentals provides tangible results and benefits:
- Increased in yields. Stem length is slightly higher and more stems per area harvested.
- Healthier crops. The quality of plants, leaves and flowers remain in higher optimums.
- Lower other crop inputs required as quality of plants are better.
Croptimum clearly stimulates developments of shoots. Once the plant is treated regularly with Croptimum the plants and roots are stimulated to induce more shoots resulting in more yields and better plant development.



On the pictures (above/left) of additional ground and flowers shoots as experienced at many growers worldwide resulting in average 14% more productivity when grown in soil. In substrate average 7% is measured.
Stimulation of an optimum rhizosphere is observed after use of Croptimum. Root volume increases have been measured and better root development observed in various crops.

Using Croptimum stimulates the uptake of nutrients important for optimum photosynthesis, shoot formation and flower production. Analysis of nutrients in numerous crops resulted in a better nutrient balance in plants;

BENEFITS & RESULTS
In any plant Croptimum helps to improve chlorophyl levels and shoots. In these hydrangea’s 12% more healthy shoots could develop with strong development of flower heads.
