Fruit trees
CHV’s technology is based on carefully selected and purified plant substances.
A specific solution for fruits and orchards during periods of stress
Application of Croptimum significantly improves tolerance to abiotic stress, specifically heat and drought stress. Application of Croptimum during stressful periods improves activity of the tree and resilience. This results in significant improvement of fruit volume losses and fruit drops. Trees treated with Croptimum have also shown more vigorous growth after pruning, with longer and more numerous branches aiding to increased and improved yields.

Plant activation
Croptimum activates glutathione, a key plant antioxidant involved in redox regulation. During stress, antioxidants such as glutathione help maintain cellular redox balance. Through this interaction, Croptimum enhances the plant’s buffering capacity against oxidative stress, allowing treated plants to continue performing where untreated plants
Root activation
Croptimum improves rhizosphere health by increasing glutathione levels in roots, enhancing root resilience. At the same time, it positively influences rhizosphere microorganisms, promoting beneficial interactions rather than competition for resources. This dual mode of action improves nutrient uptake, reduces drought stress sensitivity, and supports overall tree performance.
Reliable results
Repeated use of Croptimum across successive seasons has been shown to not only increase yields but also reduce year-to-year yield variability. This results in more consistent harvests and stable productivity over time.
Application made easy
At CHV we strongly believe that our technology should be accessible to our community through relevant solutions. Croptimum is easy to apply and designed to apply efficiently through drench and drip irrigation.
Observations & results
Through independent research institutes and reputable growers unquestionable results were observed at various production locations worldwide. Across a wide variety of fruit trees, vines and bushes, better yields and quality were measured.

The graphs above shows measurements of optimal growth time, drought stress probability, plant metabolic activity, and light-on response in treated and untreated plants, recorded before, during (green-shaded period), and after the trial.
Enhancing the redox buffer
Croptimum contains the active molecule QQ2.
QQ2 exhibits a strong affinity for thiol groups, particularly glutathione. Glutathione is the most abundant antioxidant in plants and plays a central role in regulating a wide range of stress-related physiological processes.
Through its strong interaction with glutathione, QQ2 enhances the plant’s ability to cope with stress, improving stress tolerance and enabling faster recovery following stressful events. Laboratory studies have demonstrated that application of Croptimum leads to a significant increase in glutathione concentrations in plant tissues after treatment.
Physiological improvement
To further understand the effects of Croptimum on citrus, CHV collaborated with Vivent Biosignals to collect real-time data on physiological changes occurring in plants following application. This research was conducted at a reputable commercial citrus grower in the Huelva (Spain). Similar effects were experienced at other growers applying Croptimum specifically during hot and stressful growing circumstances.
The results showed that application of Croptimum reduced plant sensitivity to drought stress, increased metabolic activity, accelerated the initiation of photosynthesis, and extended the duration of optimal growth conditions.
Harvest results
The observed physiological changes in trees treated with Croptimum translated into measurable improvements in both harvest quantity and quality.
On average, fruits harvested from Croptimum-treated trees showed a 5% increase in fruit diameter, more uniformity, better maturation and less sunburn. Combined with a higher number of harvestable fruits and more vigorous growth these changes result in an increase of marketable yield from 5% up to 25%.
The benefits of Croptimum have always been achieved using the same level of agronomic inputs as the untreated control. Consequently, when expressed per kilogram of harvested fruit, this corresponds to a reduction in water and fertilizer use per kg of produce compared to the control treatment.

The graph above presents the harvest results obtained by the grower participating in the Croptimum trial. The research was conducted at a reputable commercial grower in the Huelva region, in collaboration with Vivent Biosignals and Eurofins.

Reducing alternate bearing
Croptimum has been successfully applied by multiple citrus growers, delivering consistent performance across seasons.
At sites where Croptimum has been applied for more than one year, reduced variability between annual harvests was observed. This indicates a mitigation of alternate bearing, resulting in more stable and predictable yields over time.
Croptimum enables growers to improve crop performance without increasing other agronomic inputs such as water, fertilizer, or crop protection products. This supports more sustainable production systems while delivering reliable and predictable results, even under challenging growing conditions.
